Hello, my name is Heather Robertson, and I serve as the Preschool Director at Excelsior Preschool in Gold River. I bring more than 30 years of experience in early childhood and elementary education. My extensive background includes roles as a Preschool Teacher, Elementary School Teacher, Assistant Principal, and Preschool Director, as well as owning and operating my own preschool for 10 years.

I have dedicated my education and career to this field, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and two Associate’s degrees, including an A.S. in Early Childhood Education. Throughout my career, I have been a passionate advocate for children and families and committed to creating nurturing, engaging, and developmentally rich learning environments while leading strong teaching teams focused on high quality education and care.

As a proud mother of four and grandmother of one, I bring a unique perspective on how truly important it is for families to find a preschool and teachers who will care for their children as they would themselves. I deeply value the partnership between families and educators, and my leadership is guided by the principles of integrity, transparency, honesty, and open communication, all values I believe are essential to building lasting connections and a supportive school community.
